What is Action Shooting
Action Shooting is one of the fastest growing activities in the shooting world; It
consists of several different events such as the International Practical Shooting
Confederation (IPSC), the Single Action Shooting
Society (often called Cowboy Action Shooting), Police Practical Shooting, etc. The
Grenville Fish & Game Club is offering IPSC and CAS events in these action shooting
sports this season.

PRE-REGISTRATION
IPSC Pre-Registration
begins at 6:00pm on the Monday, two weeks prior
to the match. Only two competitors (the caller and one other) will be
accepted. Accepting more than this isn't fair to others who are trying to
call for slots as it ties up the phone lines longer.
A list of competitors and their shooting time will be on hand for
registration on the day of the match.
Competitors should (as a matter of courtesy), contact the Match Director
or IPSC Club Representative in the event that they are unable to attend
the match.
IPSC REGISTRATION
The Registration Area will be clearly marked (Usually in the
Clubhouse) and a copy of the pre-registration list will be available. As
competitors arrive they should proceed to this area and pay their match
fee and receive their score sheets. All score sheets must be clearly
marked with the competitors Name, Division, Class (if known) and Major or
Minor. This may be done by the competitor or the Registration Official, but
it must be done at the time of registration. Major or Minor not being
declared will result in the competitors score being calculated as Minor
and Division not being declared will result in the competitor being scores
in the Open Division.
A list will also be kept for "walk-on's", and that the issuing
of these shooting slots be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
