"Butler's Rangers 20th Anniversary
Cowboy Action Shoot

Howdy Pardners,

A small Posse of Eastern Ontario Cowboy Action Action Shooters attended the 20th Anniversary Canadian Western Action Shooting Match and Celebration held at the Guelph Rod & Gun Club on the May long weekend (May 21 - 23, 2005). A number of shooting clubs in South-Western Ontario participated in this event by designing and building the 10 stages of the main match. In addition, there was a number of side matches like Long Range Rifle (won by the Carp River Drifter from the EO Posse!), Fastest Handgun, Shotgun and Rifle, etc.

The Stages were outstanding with wonderful props, great targets and well thought out scenarios; All of us who attended came home full of enthusiasm and ideas for better and more exciting matches because of this experience.
