  • 23 — 2008 Pike & Perch Ice Fishing Derby

  The Pike Ice Fishing derby will be held at Johnstown Marina (Elevator Bay). Price per ticket is $10.00 (adults) and $5.00 for 14 and under. The derby will run from 6 AM to 4 PM, Weigh in will start at 8 AM and will be every two hours. There will be a prize for the heaviest fish every two hours, plus a hidden weigh prize, there will also be a bonus for the heaviest fish of the day. There will also be a live release draw prize. For children 14 years and under, there will be a free Perch derby. Free hot chocolate will be provided.

  • 24 — Spring Pike Derby 
    $100 Prize for Largest Pike in each two hour period, Plus $50 Bonus Prize for the Heaviest Pike of the Day and $10 Hidden Weight Prize each two hour period
    Live Release Draw: You will receive a ticket for each Live Release for a for a prize to be determined. Free Chili & Bun while it lasts at 4 P.M. (Canteen on site)  
    Entry Fees: Youth (14 & Under) - $5   Adult - $10; Youth and adults compete for the same prizes. Weigh-in at Cardinal Public Dock (by Royal Canadian Legion)

The Grenville Fish & Game Club sponsor several fishing derbies throughout the year, usually on the St. Lawrence River. These events will be listed here in the near future.
